Abuse on Contact
Abuse on Contact Training Program
Abuse on Contact is an Australian-first training program aimed at frontline workers to identify the warning signs of domestic abuse and homicide. We developed the program in partnership with Women’s Legal Service and Ipswich’s Domestic Violence Action Centre to prevent children and their mothers being harmed by violent fathers during contact visits.
Abuse on Contact is designed for industry professionals, such as counsellors, support workers, legal and dispute resolution professionals. It helps them to identify and assess risk of abuse on contact for adult victims and children, as well as how to support children where there is abuse on contact and how to use the law to increase the safety of victims.
Courses are run on demand. If you are interested in attending or running an Abuse on Contact course, please contact us.
