Disability Support

It’s your choice

We know that people living with a disability have different strengths, abilities, needs and desires. Our programs are designed to support individuals with the freedom to live the way you want to live. Everyone deserves the support to maintain a lifestyle that is enjoyable, fulfilling and meaningful.

At Carinity, we listen and work with you to understand your likes and wishes, and work together to find the services that best match your needs. We provide individualised support and services, choosing manageable and practical activities, and help you get things started so you can achieve your goals and do more of the things you enjoy.

Our services assist in developing skills, making new friends, building community connections and accessing key services, as well as offering respite.

We can support you to live independently in your home, such as cooking easy and healthy meals, keeping your home clean and tidy, and managing your money, and get you out and about in your community to work, groups activities, sport or the shops. We can also support you with transport to get you to these activities.

Community centres

Our two dedicated community centres provide a social hub where you can engage with others and enjoy a real sense of belonging as part of the broader community, as well as offering overnight respite.

Bunderra

Located in Boonah, the support and services at Bunderra focus on building confidence, friendships and a sense of community.

Our House

Carinity Our House, located in Toogoolawah, provides a home away from home for people with disability and their carers.

Support for family and carers

We support families to cope with life’s challenges. We can help with after-school and holiday support, help in the home, overnight respite and therapy aide sessions. We can assist with transport to assessments and appointments, provide a listening ear, and connect families with support groups and other services.
